Foxtrot: Where Snow Obsession Meets Mountain Life

How we started:

Hotel Foxtrot was born from a shared love of deep snow, mountain life, and the wild energy of the Japanese Alps. After years of living in Hakuba, we—Byron and Nellie, two Aussie snowboarders—wanted to create something of our own—a space that reflects everything we love about riding, community, and living close to the mountains.

More than Just a Stay:

Foxtrot is where mountain days turn into memorable nights. We’ve taken the warmth of a traditional Japanese inn and added king-size comfort, modern interiors, and a relaxed, social vibe. We’re not a chain. We’re the little guys doing what we love—sharing stoke, local tips, and the kind of energy that brings people together.

The Location:

Hotel Foxtrot is nestled in upper Echoland – a prime location between Happo One and Hakuba 47/ Goryu resorts. Our close proximity means you can easily get to two of the largest skiable mountains in the valley.

Adding to this, we are a short walking distance to the town’s best bars and restaurants, so those looking for a night out won’t be disappointed.
