The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic, bilingual (Japanese & English) individuals to join our year-round team at Hotel Foxtrot as Guest Experience Officers. This role is central to delivering an exceptional stay for our guests by providing warm, professional service and supporting all aspects of their holiday experience.
As a Guest Experience Officer, you will be responsible for assisting guests with inquiries, emails, and phone calls, as well as managing bookings for amenities and services such as lift passes, equipment rentals, transport, and local activities. You will also provide local recommendations, support check-in/check-out procedures, and ensure a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, both in person and across digital communication channels.
- Manage guest inquiries, reservations, and service bookings (e.g., lift passes, equipment hire, transport).
- Support the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including check-in, check-out, and concierge services.
- Anticipate guest needs and offer tailored advice to enhance their stay.
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and problem-solving initiative.
- Collaborate closely with the housekeeping, food & beverage, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Represent Hotel Foxtrot’s brand and values through friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive engagement.
Key Requirements:
- Language Skills: Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
- Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in customer service, guest relations, or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and professional communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
- Teamwork: Collaborative, flexible, and able to work effectively in a small team environment.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Respectful of Japanese customs and committed to building positive relationships within the community.

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable bilingual (Japanese & English) Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Hotel Foxtrot. This year-round position is key to ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment throughout their stay. You will work closely with other team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and order in guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities as needed.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.
- Support the overall guest experience with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Key Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Japanese language skills are a strong advantage.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, proactive attitude.

General Lodge Hand
Hakuba, Nagano
The Role:
Hotel Foxtrot is looking for energetic, adaptable, and team-oriented individuals to join our seasonal staff for the upcoming winter in Hakuba. As a General Lodge Hand, you’ll play a hands-on role across a variety of lodge operations—from guest services and housekeeping to food & beverage support and assisting with daily logistics.
This is a fantastic opportunity to spend a season in one of Japan’s most iconic ski resorts, gain valuable hospitality experience, and immerse yourself in an international team culture—while still having plenty of time to enjoy the snow.
The Role: Your responsibilities will vary day to day, but may include:
- Assisting with guest check-in/check-out and general inquiries.
- Supporting housekeeping duties, including room resets and lodge upkeep.
- Helping with meal preparation, food and beverage service, or bar support.
- Maintaining common areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Providing local information and guest assistance (e.g., lift passes, bookings, recommendations).
- Driving guests to and from locations (if licensed).
- Supporting back-of-house operations and other lodge tasks as needed.
What you need:
- Eligibility to work in Japan (Working Holiday Visa, spousal/dependent visa, or valid work visa).
- Valid passport and ability to provide proof of funds & return ticket (if applying for WHV).
- English fluency; Japanese language skills a big advantage.
- Valid driver’s license & International Driving Permit preferred (required for driver duties).
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to commit to the winter season (December 2025 – March 2026).
